Dr. Smart received her doctor of Philosophy from James Madison University. She holds an audiology license in Michigan and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Prior to moving to Michigan, she was the Audiology Graduate Program Director at Towson University and was an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She has authored numerous research publications, book chapters, scholarly presentation, and funded research grants.

She has worked extensively with Special Olympics and considers herself a staunch advocate for individuals with intellectual disability. She loves spending time with family and friends.
Kara Hotaling, AU.D. CCC-A

Dr. Hotaling received her doctor of Audiology from University of Florida, and is licensed to practice audiology in Michigan. She also achieved her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

She has clinical experiences in a variety of audiology settings and has even worked as a Quality Control Specialists in the pharmaceutical industry. She loves trivia games and visiting amusement parks.
Nicole V. Kreisman, Ph.D. CCC-A
AUDIOLOGIST
Dr. Kreisman earned her doctor of Philosophy from University of Florida. She holds audiology licensure in Michigan and the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has many years of experience, particularly with individuals requiring hearing aids.
